Excellent, especially on the Kindle

Easy to navigate from Old Testament to New Testament, from chapter/verse to the footnotes and other reference materials and back again. I have the hard-cover version of this study Bible in NASB and in NIV - I love them both, but they are bulky and heavy. The Kindle solves the weight problem and makes taking this Bible along while travelling so much easier. Also, I love having the footnotes on my Kindle in a font that these middle-aged eyes can easily read!

EXCELLENT BIBLE, BUT POOR NAVIGATION. - Jose Mathew, India

For the past many years I have been using the Life Application study Bible - print edition. Now three weeks back I ordered a kindle edition for my Android Tablet. It was installed on my Tablet through a kindle reader application provided by Amazon.
Now, the LASB e-reader contains all the data of the original print edition; but the drawback is its poor/ slow navigability. I hope the e-book producers will do the necessary changes for better navigation and provide it to me as an update.
Here are my suggestions:
1. Give a few buttons at the top/ bottom of every page (auto hide) so that one could quickly go to that section. For example,
OT - OT Books; NT - NT Books; N - Bible study notes; B - Beginning; C - Contents without Bible books; Ch - Charts;
M- Maps; P - Character profiles etc.
2. Books and study notes navigation: Please arrange the Bible books (OT & NT separately) in one page, in a box with rows and columns; also for chapters, a similar navigation is desired. Books names need be given in abbreviated form. For touch screens, such boxes are most convenient, than paragraph style used at present.
I would gladly recommend this e-Bible to anyone once the above changes are updated.

Great translation, but there are technical blahs

Great translation, but there are technical blahs. No major issues in content, just a few reminders in operation - going between notes and scripture and reference material is tricky until you learn the steps. Recommendation to publisher - the great thing about a Life Application Bible is that you can read the scripture and the notes on the same page, but on a tablet you cant do that. You have to switch back and forth, which makes it cumbersome. If I could find an application that would put the scripture and notes on the same page, then I would purchase that one before this. Until then I will use this version.
