My Thoughts:
Werewolves? Check.
Holy Hell of Hotness? Check.
Mysterious baddies trying to maim, destroy and generally screw up things for our heroine? Check.
A whole lot of action and steamy scenes? Hell yeah.
This is a highly erotically charged story that sets up the scene for this brand new Paranormal Erotic series nicely.
Lydia, our main protagonist, is like many women out there, a little screwed up from family issues, looking to make a living as best as she can, and finding someone to share a life with. But she also has a second life, one she lives in her dreams with the mysterious Ryan, a hotter than hot older man that rocks her world, literally. But lately her dreams have become even more real, and the gaping hole inside her that screams loneliness is threatening to swallow her whole.
I found the emotions very raw in this book. Most of the characters have painful back stories that weave with the main storyline and I found myself drawn to icy Lawrence the most; I am really looking forward to discovering more about him. Ryan is just pure fire, and Taylor is a sweetheart, but Lawrence definitely has my attention and will keep it for the rest of the series.
I enjoyed this book and read it twice in the space of three days. I've always loved Dianna Hardy's writing style, and wasn't disappointed with "Releasing the Wolf".
Everything is very honest in this story: the sex scenes, the naked emotions, all the action;
there's mystery, a lovely take on Werewolf Mythology, and a nice plot, which makes it that much better for me as a lot of books with such a big erotic component tend to fail in engaging their readers, but I found myself wanting to know more about the stories, and not just looking forward to reading some more about the hot Werewolf Pack and their sexual escapades.
If you love Paranormal Erotic stories, this is definitely one to try.

Okay. April in OR

Not what I was expecting from the blurb about this ebook. This was an okay read, the sex was all over the place (I mean that liturally), even though Lydia couldn't help it, it was a little slutty for my taste. I didn't feel the connection between Ryan and Lydia, she doesn't even "meet" Ryan till 3/4 of the way in the ebook and when she does it was a strange interaction, I like to read menages everyone once in a while but this one felt disconnected. The whole story didn't make sense, Lydia finds out she's a werewolf and that's it. What made this story worse was the epilogue....to many hints, not sure if I want to read the up coming stories..this ebook should have been .99cents.
I gave this 2 stars because the sex was okay but I felt like this story didn't come together that well, with the epilogue you don't know who the writers next 2 books will be about.

A bit disappointed

I read the other reviews so I was expecting a really good book. I really didn't like how this book ended for one thing. I don't know if this will make sense or not but, for all the pages this book had it felt like not very much happened. I was just disappointed with this book.
