Annie Adams is the author of THE FINAL ARRANGEMENT, book one in The Flower Shop Mystery series. She lives with her husband, two giant dogs, and two too giant cats in Northern Utah at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains. When not writing she can be found arranging flowers or delivering them in her own Zombie Delivery Van.

Good for Debut, I think next will be better

The murder-mystery was solid and there was a great supporting cast in this book. Quincy, the heroine, irritated me through most of the book. She had chronic foot-in-mouth syndrome that she never seemed to learn from. Alex, the hero, was great except I couldn't figure out what he saw in Quincy. I would have also liked more emotion between these two. I'm not a fan of religion in my reading, and there was enough in the first half that it bugged me.
After reading the blurb at the end of this book, I am interested in reading the second book, and since this was Annie Adams debut book and I liked her writing well enough, I'd give the next one a chance. But, if the things that bugged me in this one weren't addressed, I'd be unlikely to finish it. I look forward to finding out.

Next book please!

I got up this morning after having read The Final Arrangement and came to my computer to order the next books and was sorry to see none listed. This was a really good book with a surprise ending. I do wish some issues had been cleared up, i.e. what happened to the persons no longer working at the shop. I hope to see the blinders taken off her Mother's eyes (I think their starting to peal)and would like to see her sister find happiness. I hope Annie Adams has many more like this to come this was a great read (I started it late in the afternoon and was up till 3 am) and I would recommend it to everyone liking "A Cozy Murder Mystery"!

Cozy and Unique

This cozy mystery has it all, it's quirky, unique, has the small town, the police officer and the quirky florist who is up to her own detective work. Quincy the florist and Alex the police officer have a... yes you guessed it, quirky fun relationship from the beginning. And it's fun to find out why the dead guy is in the coffin. I know most dead people are in a coffin, you'll have to read this fun story to find out what I mean!
