Great Overview for Anyone Starting off in Marketing

I recently started an online/offline business and I was really happy when I purchased this book. It's basically a blueprint for how to work with the many marketing channels available now. I especially liked that Mr. Johnson put emphasis on the ROI instead of "this is what we've always done, so this is what we do".

This book really opened my eyes to understand that I can't just find people in one place - I have to be on all the different channels to varying degrees. I totally get the link for Real Estate people that need to generate a lot of capital to start buying property - makes me want to do the same thing!

I would recommend this book to anyone who's started a small business or wants to start investing in real estate.

This book is an easy read for what could be a boring subject for the general public. All points of the business were covered in a well written presentation. The reader is not bogged down in charts and number.

I managed to get a couple of tips that I will be using in my business today as soon as I leave this site.

A shotgun wedding not to be missed!

The latest and greatest in the Cane Chronicles shows us that SM Reine can write a true "shotgun wedding". This is a fast paced, yet emotionally packed episode in the Seasons of the Moon reader directed story featuring Rylie the alpha with a torn heart and the two brothers who both love her. Bring in a zombie of a MIL and a half brother with his own agenda, thrown in some Union soldiers and a fishbowl and you have one heck of an interesting read. Short, quick and well written, this selection is a must read for fans of SM Reine and her werewolf stories.

Loving It!

This was another thrilling novella that had me on my toes from start to finish. The idea of a wedding set in the middle of all the chaos ensuing was a great touch, especially as more revelations about mating and Cain's true intentions come to light. While I hate to see Abel and Seth internally fighting over their one true love, Rylie, it seems readers are in for a bit of tug of war, because, as we learn from the synopsis, Rylie's unborn child could be either Seth's or Abel's, throwing a huge wrench into Rylie's plans to marry Seth. Likewise, Cain's plans to ruin everything are a bit of a setback, as well.

Reine does a phenomenal job enticing her readers and keeping them glued to the pages as events unfold, slowly releasing vital information that seems to be pushing in one solid direction concerning parentage. Yet, I'm really hoping there is something we haven't been told yet, because I'm hoping these revelations aren't actually true... Of course, I'm a romantic at heart, so the rivalry, while intense and extremely interesting, is really beginning to weigh on my heart. I don't want to see anyone hurt, but it looks like that is where things are headed.

Originally slated to be a four novella spinoff of Seasons of the Moon, the Cain Chronicles series is nowhere close to a finale, for which I am very thankful. I have been following Rylie's story from the very beginning, and when Seasons of the Moon ended with the fourth book, I was satisfied, but sad to see the novels laid to rest. So was Reine, as it were, and this delightful story continued on through her creation of four novellas, with the help of reader input. In my humble opinion, this is the coolest thing ever: Reine wrote the first novella, New Moon Summer, and released it to the public. Then, she asked her readers for their input. From there, Reine wrote the next installment, released it, and again asked for reader input. With the craziness that has been going on around me lately, I wasn't able to chime in--I didn't even know about the spinoff series until very recently--but all that's been put right. With the completion of what I thought was to be the very last novella in the Cain Chronicles, I found that, yes, the story continues. And this time, I'm weighing in, since the next insallment isn't out yet.

A Fans Must Read

If you are at all a fan of this series, this is an installment you do not want to miss. There is plenty of action, tension, and surprises to keep your heart going pity pat and this keeps up to the very end. I even found myself reaching for the Puffs and shedding a few tears. Red Rose Moon is a little bit longer than the other novellas in the Cain Chronicles and I found it a very satisfying treat. The description provided is a very good overview of the storyline and I will not rehash it. Once again I will state that this series is best read in order so you do not miss a bit of the back story that brings Rylie to this place in her life, as well as be able to truly appreciate the jaw dropping and emotional conclusion. As an aside all four of the novellas in the Cain Chronicles, as are the four novels from the Season of the Moon series, which is the beginning of the journey taking place prior to the Cain Chronicles, are now both available in an omnibus and I definitely recommend taking advantage of this, as they are in my opinion definitely worth reading.

Two high-school sweethearts are reunited by the death of the father of one of them, Ben, now a soldier bound for Afghanistan. His former love interest, Josephine, worked at the Navajo trading post owned by Ben’s father. Josephine discovers the body of Tom Stuart in the house behind the outpost. Police initially dismiss Tom’s death as a suicide, until they’re told that Tom was left-handed (an incredibly creaky plot device) and couldn’t have fired the gun from the position in which his body was found. Ben and Josephine join forces, of course, to solve the crime, but mostly this is a romance with misunderstandings, obstacles, dangers, and plenty of smoldering looks. Their best book yet!

I've read almost all of Aimee and David Thurlo's books, from their Ella Clah and Sister Agatha series to Aimee's Harlequin Intrigue novels. "A Time of Change" incorporates the best of both worlds!

Set in the Navajo Nation, "A Time of Change" tells the story of The Outpost, a trading post run by Tom Stuart. Though Tom's murder is what spurs the action in the story, he is as much a leading character as Jo Buck, Tom's employee and apprentice medicine woman. His spirit pervades every chapter as Jo and Tom's estranged son, Ben, back from Afghanistan on compassionate leave, work together despite their differences and painful pasts to find justice for the man they both loved.

Though danger threatens The Outpost, Jo, Ben, and a wonderfully engaging cast of characters, work together, despite their own personal hardships and struggles to save The Outpost and each other from the enemy that threatens to destroy Tom's dream and their lives and livelihood. In the process, they become a stronger family unit and Jo and Ben find that the love they once shared will give them the strength to carry on Tom's vision.

I enjoy the reading which includes Native American knowledge and the lives of those who really do make a difference in the world even in small ways.

harlequin novel

did not realize it was a harlequin when I ordered it, I was unable to finish it. Not my type of book at all
