Don't bother

Pretty disappointing. The idea is good but poorly written. Find something else that potrays lessons better than this bin a much more child friendly manner. One star only because the illistrations are good.

A very fresh twist and departure from other BULLY books

This is one of those books that can be enjoyed by both children and parents. Billy the snake is 'poisonous' in the sense that he does not even realize that his uncaring attitude pushes his friends away. Unlike most moral lesson stories, this has a very realistic and direct approach, Billy REALLY IS a bad friend, the charm is that he genuinely is unaware of it and really longs to make friends. It takes Billy a while to change his habits but the importance of compromising and sharing interest with his friends finally clicks in and obnoxious, too-real Billy, makes subtle changes that go a long way! A great book to bring up the topic of learning how to be a good friend, a very fresh twist and departure from BULLY books, anyone can be an unintentional bully at times.

Ending

Best book that such a nail biting ending I hope that there is another book in the series. I need to know what is going to happen to Billy know that he knows the truth about himself. But at the same time I feel sorry for the coral snake because even at the end of the book he still has no friend, it's kind of sad really.:(
